Ruedi Baur
Ruedi Baur (intégral) visited DAAP in the spring of 2016 and conducted a workshop focused on the identity of place. During the three day workshop, groups of students were asked to study an aspect of the city of Cincinnati, and present our findings on a cube. The resulting analysis was a study by Cincinnati natives, who expressed their biases about each of the 52 neighborhoods within the city. The words used to described each neighborhood were mapped, regions of similarity were found, and barriers, both physical and social, were compared and contrasted.
